My name is Jonathan Caratachea. I had the great pleasure of attending Dwight D. Eisenhower in Blue Island for my high school experience. After graduation I entered into one of the best experiences of my life at the great college of Moraine Valley located in Palos Heights. I was able to learn many aspects about myself and was able to walk away Associates degree in Arts. Upon receiving my Associates, I was blessed with the fabulous opportunity to become a paraprofessional in district 130 in Blue Island. I have been at the school for two years now. I have the pleasure of working with dual language and bilingual 4th grade student’s every day! I have experience working with students who have an IEP as well as experience working with a wide range of learners in the classroom. I have a lot of fun every day and would not give up my experiences in the classroom for anything. 

My passion is working with the youth, but my true calling is sports. I already work with children ages 8-14 in training them and teaching them the great sport of soccer. I hope to implement many of my experiences I have acquired already working with young children and build on them as I progress in my career and ultimately hope to be an effective teacher for all of my students. Other than making plans for a soccer academy for young children, work and school have been my main focus thus far.
